Troubleshooter : Troubleshoot a BAC175

How do i change my motor speed?

The BAC175 has two speeds LOW for using very thin products ie preserver, shed and fence, Also it protects the motor if you have not released the pressure when you turned the pump off. It will always turn on in LOW speed thus not stripping the motor. If you are spraying interior paints like emulsion and exterior  masonry you will need to put your machine into HIGH speed IF YOU HAVE A  MARK 1 MACHINE (2004 AND EARLIER) this procedure is slightly different.

MK1 PUMPS (2004-and earlier)

You need too turn pump on and push the two arrow buttons on display panel together at the same time. This will change the speed of the motor. If pump is turned off it will go back to LOW speed and you have to repeat this procedure.

MK2/MK3 PUMPS (2004-to-present)

You need to turn pump on and push the psi/bar button witch is on the top right hand side of display panel. Hold this button for about a second and the display will read low then push the up arrow and it will change to high speed. The best time to do this is when pump is under pressure. If machine is turned off it will go back to low speed and you need to repeat this procedure.
